Blake Allen Forsey passed away peacefully at his home with his parents by his side on August 16, 2013 after a 15 month courageous battle with cancer.
Blake was born on November 8, 1966 to Allen and Dianne Coombs Forsey in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1984 and Weber State University with a Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Degree in 1998. He loved building houses with his dad and did this for over 20 years. He is very proud of the fact that they built his home together. He worked for McDonnell Douglas as an Airframe Mechanic from 1989 to 1993. He worked for Sandy City Fire Department as a paramedic/firefighter from 1995 to 2011. His highest rank obtained was "Captain."
Blake was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and would like to express gratitude to the Jazz Bear for fulfilling a dream. He loved the San Francisco Giants, to travel, dance and always had the most updated technology. His 2006 Mustang GT was his pride and joy.
Blake is survived by his parents Allen and Dianne, his sisters Teri (Richard) Hales and Kim (Larry) Harston, nephews and niece, Nick (Christina), Drew, and Kelli Hales and Zac and Alex Harston. He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Perry, his grandparents Ruel and Marie Forsey, and Sterling and Alta Coombs.
Viewing at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, on Tuesday, August 20th from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, August 21st from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Graveside services at Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21st.
