Songwriter. He composed scores and songs for many motion pictures of the 1920s through the 1950s. His most popular and well known songs were "Hooray For Hollywood" from the 1937 film "Hollywood Hotel", 1920s foxtrot standard "Aint We Got Fun?", and the Shirley Temple voiced "On the Goodship Lollipop".
