She was born Aug. 16, 195, in Danville to Kelly Ray and Lula May Crippin Powell. She was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Powell and her brothers, Darrel Powell and Brian Powell.
She is survived by her mother; siblings, Raymond (Phyllis) Powell, Emily (Eugene) Bencomo, Carol (Kyle) Looper, Kalley (Nancy) Powell, Chester (Cheri) Powell, Steven (Kelly) Powell, Mark Powell, Kevin Powell and Paul (Brittany) Powell; sisters-in-law, Sheila Powell and Elizabeth Powell; an uncle, Tom Crippin; an aunt, Alice Powell and many nieces and nephews.
She attended Lynch Grade School, East Park Junior High, and graduated from Danville High School in 1968. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department, Meis Brothers, was a longtime employee of Target, and was manager of Tuesday Morning in Bloomington.
