DOVER Lynn J. McGuire, 64, passed away at the home of his daughter after a long battle with cancer. Lynn was born on November 5, 1948, in Cresson, Pa., son of the late Earl E. and Marie Antoinette (Lynch) McGuire. He retired after 40 years of service as a pattern maker for the former Pennsylvania Stone Products. He loved model trains and spending time with his grandsons. The viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St. York. The funeral service will begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be private in Salem Church Cemetery, Dover. Lynn is survived by his daughter, Desiree R. (McGuire) Strine and her husband, Darrell of Dover; two grandsons, Devin Strine and Dalton Strine; four brothers, Brady J. McGuire and wife, Jane of Sherman, Texas, Eric C. McGuire and wife, Marcia of Red Lion, Curtis W. McGuire and wife, Maxine, of Mason, Ohio, and Kelsey P. McGuire and wife, Deb of Red Lion; and three sisters, Mary Joe Vukmanic and husband, Frank of Red Lion, Gaile Ann Eckenrode and husband, Brady of Portage, and Janice McGuire of Timonium, Md. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. Terry McGuire, and a sister, Brenda M. Wallace.
