Charles R. Mixon, Sr., a native of Canoe, Ala. and a Mobile resident, died Thursday, August 15, 2013. Mr. Mixon attended Grace Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable C. Mixon. Survivors include his children, Charles Mixon of Fairhope, and Kathy Strickler of Miss.; one sister, Frances Black of Canoe, Ala. and brother, William Mixon of Fairhope; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives. Graveside services were held on Wednesday at 10 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
