Clara Evelyn Hisey, 88, born August 31, 1924 in Sparks, Oklahoma, to her parents Harry Gee and Ava (Simms) Gee. Clara passed away in the arms of her great- grandchildren and great great-grandchildren on August 16, 2013. She was very involved with her church family. Clara loved being with her family, always giving and doing for others. Being with her babies was her number one priority. Clara enjoyed shopping and always looking pretty. Her greatest achievement was Tommy Jean. For that brought her grandkids and grandbabies. Clara lived for family. She vowed that she would take care of the family and that she did. Clara is preceded in death by her daughter Tommy Jean Swanson; brothers Johnnie Gee, Reuben Gee, and Joe Gee; sisters Bebe Ellis, Sallie Nolan, Jean Buie, Maggie Gee, and Marie Niccum. She is survived by her husband Doyle Hisey; sons Stephen Hisey and Joe Critchelow; 3 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Memorial contributions may be given to Del City Church of Christ in honor of Clara Hisey. Services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Del City Church of Christ.
