Lorraine May Abbott, 80, of Longview passed away Dec. 30, 2012, at the Hospice Care Center.
She was born Jan. 27, 1932, in Mahto, S.D., to Jake and Ella Schneider.
Lorraine married Bill M. Abbott on Oct. 1, 1949, in Fort Morgan, Colo. He survives her at home.
Survivors also include granddaughters Lorie Bickar of Toledo and Lisa Britt of Longview; grandson Larry Simmons of Longview; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was preceded in death by daughter Barbara Strayer, son Marvin Abbott, brothers Ray Schneider, Leonard Schneider and Walter Schneider; and sister Delores Ceal.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Green Hills Cemetery. Nat Rinker will officiate. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Cascade Northwest Funeral Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Kelso.
