CHATHAM, Va. - Nathan Brian Howard Collins, 2, of 12960 Franklin Turnpike, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at his residence after injuries from a house fire.

Born May 4, 2000, in Danville, he was the son of Brian Ray Collins and Nancy Suzanne Talbert Collins.

In addition to his parents of the residence, he is survived by a sister, Briana Leigh Collins, also of the residence; paternal grandparents, Gloria Adkins and James Cox; maternal grandparents, Linda Lee Owen and Kevin D. Talbert; maternal great-grandparents, Howard and Margaret Eubanks; paternal great-grandfather, Buddy Cox; paternal great-great-grandmother, Flossa Strader Hook and a paternal step grandfather, Jr. Adkins, all of Danville.

He was predeceased by a great-grandmother, Gloria Cox and a great-great-grandfather, Albert Strader.

The graveside funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Schoolfield Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Pittman officiating.
