Miss Haines was born in Wyndmoor and educated in Lower Gwynedd Township. From the early 1930 through the 1980s, she was known in Montgomery County as a Welsh Pony breeder and riding instructor who owned and managed a riding stable and summer day camp for Girls in Gwynedd Valley.
Miss Haines is survived by a brother, William S. Haines, a nephew and four nieces.
Funeral services at the Church of the Messiah, Gwynedd. Interment in the churchyard.
