He married 1st Susanna Brigham Parkman, 5 Oct 1809. One child was born to this marriage; Elisha Rockwood the 4th born 19 June 1811 and died 22 Jan 1828.
He married 2nd widow Emily (Wilder) Herrick, 21 Feb 1838.
He was dismissed from Westboro, 11 Mar 1835, and in Stalled at Swanzey, NH 16 Nov 1836.
