Roberto Falcon Esquivel, age 83, passed away August 14, 2013. He was born June 7, 1930 in Mexico to David and Evangelina (Falcon) Esquivel. He was a very active member of the Catholic Community especially at St. Matthews Catholic Church where he was a main member of the Hispanic Mass Choir and Cursillo. Roberto is survived by his wife Concepcion Esquivel, children Evangeline Rivera, Robert D. Esquivel, Rick Esquivel, Ron Esquivel and Daniel Esquivel, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brothers Fidel and Cecil Esquivel and sister Esther Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 320 N 20th Dr., Phoenix, AZ from 6 to 7 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 am at the church with graveside service to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
