Brewer Franklin Anderson, 72, of 2217 North Forty-ninth died Friday morning at his residence.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Bob Wimberly officiating. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Anderson was born in Dry Creek, Tippah County, Mississippi, and also resided in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. He moved to Texas in 1933, and lived in China Spring and Waco. He served in the Navy during World War II and had been a service manager at Hicks Rubber Co. for 24 years. He was a member of China Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Yates Anderson; four daughters, Dixie Wagner of Groves City, Ohio, June Patterson of Houston, Julie Ann Swanda of San Francisco and Shirley Anderson of Austin; a son Bill J. Anderson of Aransas Pass; fourteen years grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
