Jesse "Ted" Goforth, 76, died Friday, January 11 at the Ukiah Valley Medical Center of natural causes. A funeral service will be held Monday January 14 at 1:30 at the Covelo Assembly of God Church. Mr Goforth was born August 12, 1914 in Covelo and had been a self employed equipment operator for 20 years. He was a lifelong resident of Covelo and was the last of the children born to William and Maud Goforth. Mr Goforth is survived by his wife, Ellen Goforth of Ukiah, two sons, Ted and Don Goforth both of Ukiah, and 4 grandchildren.
