The funeral will be at the Johnson funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph C. Hutchinson, pastor of the Dexter Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Dexter cemetery.
She is survived by two children by her first marriage, Mrs. Henry (Eunice Christie) LaJuett, Rochester, Kenneth Christie, Dexter, a junior high school teacher at General Brown High school; four children by her second marriage, Mrs. Henry (Evelyn E.) Robidoux, Watertown; Gilbert Christie, Rochester; and Frederick and James Christie, Dexter; two brothers, Charles R. Morehouse, Watertown, George Morehouse, Brown's nursing home, Adams Center; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Ackerman, Riellv's adult home, Watertown, Mrs. Mae Sanderson, Ogdensburg; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Christie was born in Chaumont on Sept. 9, 1884, a daughter of Franklin G. and Martha Fstella Sanderson Morehouse. She was married to Charles F. Christie of Dexter in Chaumont on Feb. 9, 1903. They lived in Dexter. He served in the Spanish-American war, contacted malaria and died Feb. 25, 1907.
On Jan. 5, 1912, she was married to Fred L. Christie, an older brother of her first husband. They spent their married life in Dexter. Fred Christie was employed for 50 years at the Dexter Sulphite and Paper Company mill and died Jan. 8, 1949.
After her husband's death Mrs. Christie continued to live in Dexter until moving to Rochester. She was a member of the Dexter Methodist church.
