AUGUSTA, Ga. - Elizabeth C. Lowery, 93, wife of the late James Russell Lowery, entered into rest, August 13, 2013, at Stevens Park Health and Rehab. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Lowery, daughter of the late Steely Preston and Virginia Packard Durden, was born in Augusta. She retired from the Accounting department of Sears & Robuck. She was a member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church and the Mize-Walters Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Lowery Nadeau and her granddaughter Jane Ann Lowery. She is survived by her son Russell Lowery, and his wife Jean, of Powder Springs GA; her sister, Mary Dorrill of Augusta and several nieces and nephews. Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors Augusta, GA.
