Br. Milo J. Gabriel, president of the Gabriel Lumber & Fuel Co. and a Past Master of Lyons Masonic Lodge AF & AM 1902 -1904; Grand Master of Masons in Iowa 1923 - 1924; survived by a son, Dwight S. Gabriel of Chicago; a daughter Alice, now Mrs. Nelson of Clinton; two grandsons, Grant Jon and Milo Gabriel Nelson of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Ameilia Moeszinger and Mrs. Henry S. Towle and two nieces, Miss Louise Hayungs and Mrs. F.O. Kershner, all of Clinton. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Edith D. Sheppart, on March 27, 1944.
