JOHNSTOWN — SHULL – Betty A., 81, 207 Ottawa St., formerly of Moxham, died Dec. 2, 2011, at her residence. Born Nov. 1, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of Lemon S. and Ethel Agnes (Boyer) Berkey. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Clifford E. Jr. Survived by children, Rickie, married to the former Donna Orkis, Hollsopple; Cheryl, married to Joe Ferpas, Johnstown; Jerry, married to the former Phyllis Blystone, Shelocta; Judy, married to Emmett Bender, Geistown; and Gary, Johnstown; sister, Patricia, married to Jack Garavento, New Jersey; grandchildren, Michael Shull, Melissa (Shull) Reckner, Joseph Ferpas Jr., Eric Ferpas, Jason Shull, Jennifer St. Clair and David Bender; great-grandchildren, Brianne Lynn Ferpas, Anna Rose St. Clair, Matthew St. Clair and Abigail and Andrew Bender. Also survived by niece and nephews, John Garavento, Christina Morales and Stephen Garavento. Longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she was in the choir. She was very artistic and enjoyed doing crafts. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, the Rev. David Streets. Interment, Richland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Arbutus Park Manor or humane society of choice.
