Had Lived With Sister, Mrs. Minnie Capron Lamora
—Mr. Fish Was Born In Norwood In 1874.
Joseph Fish, 58, died about 6 o'clock, Wednesday evening, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Minnie Capron Lamora, Watertown, with whom he lived. He had been in poor health for two years and for the past nine weeks he had been confined to his bed. Death was attributed to heart disease.
Mr. Fish was born at Norwood, July 17, 1874, a son of the late Joseph and Malinda Parzo Fish. About 20 years ago he went to Watertown and had since been a resident of that place. He had been employed in paper mills in Norwood and Watertown. Mr. Fish was never married. He was at one time a member of the Odd Fellows order.
Surviving, besides his sister, are four brothers, Fred and George Fish of Syracuse, Moses Fish of Springfield, Mass., and Edward Fish of Watertown and several nephews and nieces.
The body was taken to the Burns funeral home and from there to the home of his niece, Mrs. Francis Riley, Watertown, where funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2.30. Rev. E. O. Spaven, pastor of the Bethany Methodist Episcopal church, officiated. The body was placed in a vault and burial will be made here next spring.
