He was born in Erie September 24, 1940, son of the late Edward and Mollie Wilcox.
He is survived by a brother, Mark Wilcox, of Erie; two sisters, Rosie Wilcox of Erie, and Mamie Simmons of Baltimore, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friend and caregiver, Linda Holden.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Tate.
Eddie worked at the Erie General Electric and at Tanner Manufacturing.
He enjoyed cooking and gardening. Eddie had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed children.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at Erie Cemetery.
The Mark G. Razanauskas Funeral Home, 701 East Ave., Erie, is conducting funeral arrangements.
