Roger Dale "Robin" Cook, 69, a lifetime resident of Blair, WV departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Roger Dale was born August 27, 1953, a son of the late Melvin Sr. and Billie Cook also of Blair. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Melvin Jr. and his wife Sandra Cook, and Jerry Cook.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Harold "Bernie" (Caroline) Cook and their son Steven; his sister-in-law Linda Kaye Cook and her son Brian (Sandy) Cook and her grandsons Jalen and Noah Cook; his nephews BB (Julie) Cook, Scotty (Velma) Cook; his niece Roxanne (Randy) Mayhorn and her daughter and granddaughter Brittni (Eric) Evans and Carmen.

Roger Dale loved to talk and crack jokes. If you didn't know how to get somewhere he could tell you exactly how to get there. He also loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing was something he enjoyed in his youth. One of his last conversations he said "I sure would like to go back to New River again." He will be missed by many.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21 at Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV with Pastor Tony Vance officiating.
