arry Lee O'Brien, age 66, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He was born in Bracken County, Kentucky, on January 24, 1945, to the late William O'Brien and Garnett McElfresh McQuinlin.
Mr. O'Brien is survived by: his wife, Peggy Jo Golden O'Brien; and seven children, Catrina Hamilton and Kevin (Jenny) O'Brien, both of Brooksville, Kentucky, Renee Campbell, of Foster, Kentucky, Michelle McDowell, of Germantown, Kentucky, Chasity O'Brien, of Alexandria, Kentucky, and April O'Brien and Kelly O'Brien, both of Covington, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Appleman, of Minerva, Kentucky. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by: his step-father, Eddie McQuinlin; one grandchild; two brothers, Ray O'Brien and Shelby O'Brien; and one sister, Shirley O'Brien.
