Born at Jewish Memorial Hospital, New York, New York in 1959, Gladys was survived by her beloved parents Pedro and Maria Rosa Rentas-Rivera Gonzalez of Guanica, Puerto Rico.
Gladys, a devoted mother, leaves behind her son Jayson Gonzalez and daughter-in-law Ana H. Fermin-Gonzalez of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and her daughter Jaqueline Gonzalez of Paterson, New Jersey. She was the adoring grandmother of Jayden and Nena Gonzalez of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
She was survived by her cherished siblings Gloria Rivera of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Edna Rivera of Yauco, Puerto Rico, Vivian and Yvonne of Guanica, Puerto Rico, Peter Rivera of the Bronx, Maria of the Bronx, Hector, Samuel, Zaida and Migita. Gladys will live forever in their hearts.
Gladys was predeceased by her brother Joseph Rivera of Florida.
Known affectionately as "Titi Glady", she was the treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews, especially her niece Lisa E. Garcia-Stewart and her husband Chance of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania who will miss her beyond measure.
Titi Glady was also a precious great-aunt to many, including her great-nephews Brandon, Phillip, and Jacob Stewart of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania who will always remember her gentle spirit.
Cremation was private.
