Morris left two children, Roger Paul Bernhardt, by his first wife, Louise Mertz Bernhardt, and Constance Marie Bernhardt Hinton, by his second wife, Edna. He lived in St. Louis but in 1952 moved to Minneapolis with Edna. He loved fishing, especially in the 10,000 lakes of northern Minnesota and hunting pheasant, and was a great story-teller, pun maker and teller of great jokes. His identical twin, Gus, married a Catholic, and Gus remains at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis. Gus wasn't allowed to visit his Jewish siblings, I guess his wife thought he might revert to his original faith. Roger lives in St. Louis and has 3 children: Elizabeth, Katherine, Andrew, and 2 grandchildren: Daphne and Khalifa. Connie has one child, Holly, and one grandchild, Gracelyn.
