Eglantine Champeau was born December 2, 1875 at Hamilton, Hancock County, Illinois. Her youth was spent in Hancock county, Sonora township where she received her grade education. She was the daughter of John and Louise Sablin Champeau. She came to Meeker county August 14, 1952.
She was married to Anton Bollin for forty-four years. He passed away in 1939.
Mrs. Bollin passed away December 27, 1957 after being in failing health for five years. She had attained the age of 82 at the time of her death.
She is survived by one son, Harry M. Bollin, Sr. of Litchfield; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One son, Clarence Earl, died Dec. 2, 1940 and one daughter died at birth. She is also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were held at Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield Monday, Dec. 30, 1957 at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. B.L. Duckstad officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. B.L. Duckstad and Mrs. Waldemar Sawenson.
A second funeral service was held at Hamilton Funeral Home Hamilton, Ill.

Hamilton, Ill., Dec. 30- Funeral services for Mrs. Eglantine Bollin, 82, formerly of Hamilton, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 in the Hamilton funeral home in charge of the Rev. Fred Penniston. Burial will be in the Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Bollin, who died Friday in Litchfield, Minn., was born in Sonora township Dec. 2, 1875, a daughter of John and Louise Sablier Champeau. She was married to Mr. Bollin March 5, 1895. He died in 1939. A daughter, a son, four brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Harry, or Litchfield, Minn.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
