Connie was born July 18th 1949 to Donald and Donna Child in Ogden UT. She was raised in Riverdale UT, along with her siblings Steve, Lee, and Ranae. She graduated from Bonneville High School where she played in the Marching Band and High School Orchestra. Connie attended Weber State College and became a Certified X-Ray Technician. She married Kenneth Felt in the Salt Lake Temple in 1969. She was active in the Stratford East Ward as Relief Society pianist. Connie joined the Post Office Band in 1990 and played the bells. She performed in many parades and concerts over the years and attended six national letter carrier conventions.
Connie was very knowledgeable about vitamins, minerals, herbs and supplements. Many family and friends would call upon her expertise for suggestions with their health and well being. She devoted much of her time to helping others this way.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth, sons Benjamin (Sabrina), Russell, three grandchildren Kylie, Nathan and Jacob, and brother Lee Child (Lorna), and sister Ranae Porter (Doug). She was preceded in death by two children, her parents, and a brother.
Viewing Friday 6 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn 3401 So. Highland Dr. Funeral service at 11:00 on Saturday in the Stratford meetinghouse at 1500 E. Stratford Ave (2580 So.). Internment at Elysian Gardens 1075 E 4580 So.
