Ruby H. Dean, 85, Stanford, died Tuesday (Aug. 13, 2013) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
She was born March 23, 1928 in Olney, daughter of Elmer and Lola Travers Gaede. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Becky; one son, David; one sister, Joan and two brothers, Herman and Gene. She married Vernie D. Dean on Nov. 10, 1948 in Olney. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Holland and Lori (Tim) Smith; three sons, Gary Dean, Jeff Dean and Greg (Melissa) Dean; 15 grandchildren, Josh, Kristi, Buck, Brandy, Becky, Bonnie, T.J., Laci, Taylor, Shelby, Zachry, Aimee, Jacob, Brooke and Kaitlin and seven great-grandchildren, Rylie, Lola, Evan, Dylan, Oliver, Jayden and Ellie.
