Services slated for Mineral Ridge resident
MINERAL RIDGE -- Mrs. Leora C. Baldwin, 81, of 3690 Main St., died of a heart ailment this morining in Ashley Place Nursing Home after a two-week illness. Mrs. Baldwin was born April 24, 1912, in Clymer, Pa., a daughter of Irvin H. and Olive Ruffner Donahue, came to this area in 1929, lived in Port Charlotte, Fla., for 10 years, and returned here four years ago. She was a graduate of McDonald High School and retired in 1960 after having operated Baldwin's Market in Lake Milton. She also worked at the former Seems Golden Dawn, North Jackson, and in Woodland Park, McDonald. She was a member of first Federated Church of North Jackson and had been a Girl Scout leader. Her husband, Robert E., whom she married in 1932, died in 1980. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Janice Miller of North Jackson and Mrs. Betty Patil of Worthington; a sister, Mrs. Jane Hernandez of Mineral Ridge; two brothers, Harry B. Donahue, with whom she made her home, and George Donahue of Warren; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
