Born March 31, 1975, in Fulton County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Carlton Giles Sr.
She attended Spalding County School System and was a 1993 Honor Graduate of Griffin High School, and a 1997 graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga., with a BA Degree in psychology and philosophy.
Stephanie worked as a flight attendant for U.S. Airways and was teachers aide at Hickory High School.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Dwight Douglas Howard Jr.; aunts, Ms. Gerry Canup of Dallas, Ga. and Ms. Jane Summerlin, of McRae, Ga.; and several cousins.
Officiating the graveside service will be the Rev. Kathy Earley and Mr. Jack DeBolt.
Burial will be at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Lawndale.
