MRS. ISAAC PRIEST
Mrs. Isaac Priest died at her home in this city, 700 Market, October 13, 1910, after an illness of several weeks. The funeral was held from the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30. The services were conducted by REv. Wm. B. Thompson, pastor of the Methodist Church The pall bearers were C. N. Heath, J. A. Suey, Jacob Wolfe, and Jas Illingworth. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Amy Bright, was born July 17, 1840 in Licking County, Ohio, In 1852 she moved with her parent of Illinois where in 1857 she was united in marriage to Isaac Priest In the fall of 1868, Mr. and Mrs. Priest came to Red Oak to make their home and have resided here ever since. Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Priest, seven of whom with their father survive, and all of whom were with their mother in her last hours. They are Mrs. Hattie Jenkins of Greeley, Colorado, Mrs. Alice Williams and Mrs. Etta Adams of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Della Brett of Atlantic, Mrs. Lillie Parks of Lewis, Mrs. Grace Stratton and Otis Priest of Red Oak.
Mrs. Priest is also survived by two brothers and sisters. In 1862 she with her husband united with the Methodist Episcopal Church of which she had continued a faithful member.
