Pearl E. Daniel, 93, of Ash Grove passed away Sunday evening in Mercy Hospital following a short illness.
Pearl was born in Greene County and was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove area. She was employed with S.W. Bell as an operator and R. & S. Floral and retired from Young's Orchard after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Pearl loved to work with her flowers and vegetable garden.
Pearl McCall and Jerrold A. Daniel were united in marriage on June 14, 1941. To this union four children were born. Together they were privileged to share 60 years. Jerrold preceded her in death on July 21, 2001. Also, preceding her were an infant daughter, Parents: Virgil and Ethel McCall, two Brothers, Arthur and Lee Roy McCall and two Sisters; Alaine Stiles and Oleta Melissari
She is survived by her loving family: two Sons: Jerry and wife Lora Daniel and Larry Daniel; Daughter: Karen and husband Otis Butler; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Harriett McCall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment in John's Chapel Cemetery, south of Ash Grove.
