Age 24. Son of Francis J. Sr. and Linda (nee Bustard); brother of Sean, Brian and Dana Straub; also survived by fiancee Jamie Ippolito and her children Dominic, Gianna and Angelo; a godson Brendan; his godparents Uncle Buck and Aunt Janine Straub and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Throughout his life Frankie was employed by UPS, Pep Boys and Wire Mold as well as serving in The Pennsylvania National Guard for 8 years. He and other "10 Task Force Liberty" soldiers were killed when their Humvee was attacked with explosives. Also killed: Gennaro Pellegrini Jr., 31, a Philadelphia police officer; Nathaniel DeTample, 19, the son of a Bucks County detective; and John Kulick, 35, a firefighter from Montgomery County. They were all members of Co. A, 111th Infantry, based in Philadelphia.
