The funeral of Mrs. John George who died Monday morning at her home on the county line, was held Thursday morning at the Friends Church, Rev. Ainsworth of the Christian Church officiating. Burial was made at Park Cemetery. Among the relatives from a distance in attendance at the funeral were William Ailes and two daughters, of Andersonville; Aaron Ailes and daughter, of Metamora; Mr. and Mrs. James Ailes and Mrs. Elizabeth Wiley and three children, of Laurel; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Lewis, of New Salem, and Earl George of Taylor University. Mrs. George, whose age was 54, was the youngest of a family of six children and was the first to be taken. Her husband and two children, Maud and Roscoe George, survive.
