Funeral services were held Saturday, August 13, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, in Zell, with Reverend James Hanson officiating.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Basler Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
He was born December 10, 1911, in Zell, a son of David and Mary (Schmelzle) Huber.
He was married to Frieda R. (Weiler) Huber on November 11, 1936. She resides in Ste. Genevieve.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Glennon Huber and his wife, Joyce, of St. Peters, Missouri, and Richard Huber and his wife, Joyce, of Zell; two daughters, Marie C. (Mrs. Uel) Hutson of Ste. Genevieve and Agnes (Mrs. Gary) Walker of St. Charles; and a son-in-law, Richard Abt of Zell.
He also is survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Marcella Abt; four sisters, Josephine Basler, Elizabeth Schaub, Catherine Schwent, and Sister Mary Sylvester Huber; two half-brothers, Frank Anton Huber, and Andrew Huber; and two half-sisters, Mary Naeger and Rosa Otte.
Mr. Huber was a member of the Western Catholic Union.
The family requests memorials in the form of masses or to the charity of one's choice.
