OBITUARY: Menomonee Falls News April 18, 1919 "HENRY T. CHURCH. Born In Menomonee in 1848, Dies in Milwaukee Hospital. One of the native born Badgers whose parents were among the early settlers, was Henry T. Church.

His advent dates back to 1848, the anniversary years that Wisconsin became a state. The Church homestead was long remembered for its real hospitality. Henry grew to manhood in this community. He was married to a Miss Evert of Granville. Later he sought out the western frontier to win a fortune. He became a large land owner and later dealt largely in cattle and horses. He prospered.

On the death of his wife he returned to Wisconsin and took a second Evert daughter for his help mate. In later years he married a third daughter of the Evert family. The deceased for the past score of years was a resident of Ten-Sleep, Wyoming, where he owned a large ranch. The past several years he spent the winters in Florida.Last autumn he planned on going south but his illness became serious and he continued to fail until the end came on Friday, April 11, at the age of 71 years.

The last services were held on Tuesday at the West Granville Presbyterian Church and his remains were laid at rest in the cemetery close by. Surviving him are his wife, Nora M. Church, Hope F. and Laura N. of Milwaukee, sons Almon J. of Billings, Mont., Arthur H., Carnas Valley, Ore., and a married daughter, Nora Peterson, Montana, a brother James Church of Milwaukee."
