Sophia Lutz married Henry Bloess. Henry died in 1898 then Sophia married Rev. J.C. Jacoby.
-----
The wife of Rev. J. C. Jacoby, of Canon City, Colo., passed away on Thursday morning, December 28th. Her death was unexpected. She had complained of a cold and a doctor was called. He found her with a bad heart and pneumonia threatening, but she was not regarded in a serious condition. Early in the morning Rev. Jacoby was raising her up in bed to give her medicine when she gasped and fell back lifeless.

Mrs. Jacoby's maiden name was Sophia Lutz. She was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, March 14, 1869. Her first husband was Henry Blooss, of Sedalia. Four years after the death of this husband she was united in marriage with Dr. Jacoby, who was then pastor of the Lutheran church in Sedalia.

Dr. Jacoby is well known by the older people of Mulberry and vicinity. He is a brother of Al Jacoby and Mrs. J. D. Cook.
