OBITUARY-
Alfred S. Gilgenbach, 83, Adams, died Friday evening at Adams Health Care Center.

Alfred was born on April 20, 1916, at Taopi, Minn., the son of John and Mary (Fasbender) Gilgenbach. He attended country school and was married to Anna Margaret Jax on Oct. 1, 1940, at St. John's Catholic Church at Johnsburg. They farmed in the area until their retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Pat Flood, Las Cruces, N.M., Louise and Harold Jetson, Spring Grove, Helen and Fred Harvey, Taopi, Rita and Thomas Sundry, Rochester, Sharon and Larry Hayes, Moorhead, Susan and John Winters, Minneapolis; 20 grandchildren; seven grandchildren; a brother, Francis Gilgenbach, Adams; and sisters, Tillie Gilgenbach, Adams, Agnes (Mrs. Roman) Smith, Rochester, Betty (Mrs. Richard) Badger, Rochester.

Casket bearers will be Tom Jetson, Paul Harvey, David Hayes, Nettie Eichhorn, Michael Jetson and Peter Jetson
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.
Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery
Visitation: Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. There will be a 4 p.m. rosary service and a 7 p.m. Prayer Service at the funeral home today.
