AYNOR| Mr. Willie Yarbor Allen, age 89, husband of the late Erma Leona Durant Allen of Louisville Road passed away Nov. 29, 2005 at Marion County Medical Center.
Mr. Allen was born in Aynor, the son of the late Henry Hill and Nettie Lee Johnson Allen Mr. Allen was a retired farmer and mail carrier. After retirement he worked part time as a guard with the Horry County public works. He was also a member of Woodman of the World.
Mr. Allen was predeceased by one son, Weldon Yarbor Allen; six brothers, Leland Allen, Roy Allen, Herbert Allen, Chesley Allen, Marcus Allen, James Allen, and one sister, Nettie Maude Morehead.
Surviving Mr. Allen are one son Willie Edward Allen and his wife, Thelma, of Aynor; one daughter-in-law Frankie Allen Jordan; five grandchildren, Damaris Baxley (Ken), Tara Johnson (Trent) Crystal Evans (Archie) all of Aynor, Darena Edge (Steven) of Conway, LaDane Smith (Rick) of Colorado; nine great-grandchildren, Brox Baxley, Adalyn Baxley, Colt Smith, Hunter Smith, Bailey Evans, Sarah Grace Evans, Stephanie Edge, Maggie Edge, and Anna Leigh Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Evans and Rev.Wayne Revisky officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, at the funeral home.
