George Nieding was the son of Andrew and Margaret Neufer Nieding.
He was born on 2 May 1972 in Elyria, Ohio. He died at his home in Amherst Ohio on 22 June 1933. He married Anna C, Sabiers on Christmas Day, 1899 in Amherst, Ohio. To this union four children were born. One son, Walter O., and three daughters, Alma, Alyce and Josephine.
According to the 1900 Census he was a quarryman in Amherst.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Ann and one son, Walter, two daughters, Alma, and Josephine.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Philip D. (Alyce) Jaeger.
Funeral services were held from the Evangelical Church on Monday. Burial took place in the Crownhill Cemetery.
