Charles F. Talkington, age 66 of Manhattan, formerly of Wichita, KS, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at his residence.

He was born on October 12, 1940 in Dover, AR, the son of Charles and Bennie (Bewley) Talkington.

On June 15, 1991 in Manhattan, KS, he was united in marriage to Sutin Boonlee. She survives of the home.

Charles was a sales manager for Dick Edwards Hyundai and was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Wichita, KS.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Christina Romero of Wichita, KS and Mario Talkington of Flower Mound, TX; three brothers, Coy Talkington of Manhattan, KS, Tommy Talkington of Wichita, KS and Roy Talkington of Wichita, KS and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Anna Craig.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Cemetery.
The casket will be open all day Friday for family and friends at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established for Homecare and Hospice, Inc. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
