ADKINS, Stephen Girard Died on May 30, 2003 in Los Gatos, CA.

Born in Clintwood, VA., on November 5, 1914, Mr. Adkins resided most of his life in northeastern Tennessee and north western North Carolina. He was a graduate of Maryville College and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Adkins was employed for 31 years with Tennessee Eastman in Kingsport, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Florence Tousley Adkins and three daughters; Patricia Schroeder of Indianapolis, IN., Nancy Carson of Los Gatos, CA., and Ann Farrin of Houston, TX. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Private memorial services are to be held with interment to be in Clarksville, OH. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer Society or Habitat for Humanity.
