ORLAND, Ind. ---Private funeral services for former Goshen resident Glenn W. Bloss, Jr., 50, 6155 N 1055 West, who died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident Monday on Ind. 4 east of Goshen, will be Saturday. The Rev. Jim Brown of Goshen Grace Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.
Calling hours and a public funeral service will be held at a later date at Westbrook-Metz & Clouse Funeral Home, Elkhart.
He was born Aug. 19, 1948 in Elkhart. On Aug. 29, 1982, in Jimtown, he married Cathy BeMiller.
He was employed by Eaton, Clutch Division, Auburn, and had previously been employed by Elkhart Machine and Tool. He served in the Army for eight years. two years in the Army Reserve. He was a member of the DAV 15 of Goshen., American Legion Post 30 of Goshen and VFW Post 985 of Goshen.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Rebecca Bloss, at home; three sons, Glenn W. "Tige" Bloss III,Osceola, Donald R. Bloss, Osceola, and Robert W. Bloss, at home; one step-son,Kevin M. Lowell, Goshen; one step-grandson; his mother and step-father Betty and Richard Ratliff, Goshen; his father, Glenn Bloss Sr., Apache Junction, Ariz; three sisters,Verna (Mrs Eddie) Williams, St. Petersburg, Fla., Alice (Mrs Richard) Pilarski, Fort Wayne, and Vera Maust, South Bend; a brother, Dennis Bloss, St. Leonard, Md.; and one half-brother, Wayne Bontrager, Cullman, Ala.
