Roger E. Curtis, age 71, a resident of Curtis Drive in Leeds, Maine, died February 2nd, at Central Maine Medical Center where he had been a patient. He was born September 23, 1936 in Leeds, the son of Roscoe J. and Lola L. (Tibbetts) Curtis. He went to school in Leeds. On September 7, 1959 in Monmouth he married Claudette Wallace of Leeds. He worked as a self-employed woodsman, carpenter, mechanic and landscaper, and he had also worked for the Town of Leeds. Roger enjoyed 4-wheeling, hunting, Nascar, and driving in the stock car races at Oxford Plains Speedway.
