Linda Bentley, born in Waco, Texas on April 10, 1948, passed away peacefully in Dallas on April 18, 2000. Linda graduated from North Texas State University (now University of North Texas) with a degree in Education and moved to Dallas, where she lived for the rest of her life. She worked for many years in the real estate lending and title insurance industries, working for Southwestern Life Insurance Company, First Texas Savings and Loan, Safeco Title Insurance, and Allianz Insurance. In her last years, she returned to education, working at Woodrow Wilson High School and North Dallas High School. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Smith Kimbrough of Waco. She was survived by her husband, Mark; her daughters Hilary and Erin; her mother Joyce Kimbrough of Valley Mills, Texas; a brother, Ronnie Kimbrough of Dallas; and a sister, Brenda Kimbrough Tidwell of Crawford, Texas. Services were at East Dallas Christian Church on April 22, 2000.
