Dawn Marie Morris, 41, of Rector died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was born Oct. 14, 1960, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Louis Cook and Mary Coleman Cook and was married Sept. 7, 1990, to Don Morris. She had worked as a bookkeeper and receptionist at Above and Beyond Salon in Rector and a supervisor at the Human Development Center.
She was a member of Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Don Morris of the home; three sons, Bud, Luke and Seth, all of the home; one daughter, Toby, of the home; her parents, Louis and Mary Cook of Fairfax, Okla.; one brother, Charlie Cook of Fairfax, Okla.; one sister, Zoe Halcrombe of Fairfax, Okla.; her grandparents, James and Viola Coleman of Pawhuska, Okla., and nieces and nephews, Christy, Cody, Caleb, Moss, Cassie, Callie, Robbie, Dusty, Darren, Brad, Kasey, Joey, Grace, Helen, Danny, Matt, Laura, Michael and Tony. She also was the great-aunt of Joby and Hunter.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Randy Scaggs and Bro. Charles Ryan officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
Pallbearers were Jerry Halcrombe, Darren Beck, Brad Beck, Steve Lowe, Nick Watson, Steve Horton, Robbie Barker, Bo Mills and Jerry Horton. Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
