Philena, as a widow, was living with her son Norton W. for the 1860 census. The record for the 1865 Illinois state census does not list a female in her age group living in Norton's household. I am sure that if she were still alive, she would have been living with him. Therefore I am estimating that she died between 1861 and 1865.
