OBITUARY-
Donald L. Crace, 75, River Falls, Wis., formerly of Adams, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, at the Adams Health Care Center.

He was born Dec. 20, 1925, in Alexandria, La. to Alonzo and Leta (Weimer) Crace. When he was 5, the family moved to Austin. He attended school in Austin. Following school, he served in the Army during World War II. After serving, he moved back to Austin and married Betty Zimmerman in 1947. They moved to Adams in 1952, where he was employed by the Mower County Highway Department, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of Adams American Legion Post No. 146.
He will be missed by special friend Pat Macho of River Falls, Wis.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Donald G. (Linda) Crace, Seattle, Wash.: daughters and sons-in-law, Shari (Dan) Wagner, Adams, Cathy Jo (Jim) Rauen, Ridgway, Colo.; seven grandchildren; sister, Maxine Ferguson, Weston, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Sandy) Crace, River Falls, Wis.; Arthur Dean and Bobbi Crace, Spanaway, Wash.; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty in 1980, two sisters and one brother.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating. Organist will be Neal Erickson; soloist will be Dee Hamilton.

Visitation: 4 to 8 Friday at Adams Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church.
Interment: Grandview Cemetery
