Born on a farm east of Hooper, and on
Nov.4, 1903, became the wife of Andrew L. Lund. She was a member of the Lutheran faith and ardent worker in the Uehling Ladies' Aid.

Predeceased by her mother when she was 10 years old, surviving relatives were: her husband; her father and step-mother; brothers, John and Paul; sisters, Lizzie and Mrs. Oscar Clark; 1/2 brother, August, 1/2 sisters, Clair and Laurine.

Funeral services were held from the Lund home and from the Congregational Church, Uehling. Reverends Schrader, Hooper, and Mettler, Omaha, officiated. Pall-bearers were Jacob Larson, Henry Peterson, Arthur Bowman, Fred Frost, Eric Larson, and Lars Larson.

Friends and relatives present were: Jack Larson and Miss Marie Larson, Minneapolis, MN; M/M W. Oak, Wausa, NE; Mrs. Jos. Pfeuffellman, Creighton, NE; M/M. J.E. Mrs. Andrew L. Lund

On Friday evening, April 19, 1918, at her home south of Uehling,
occurred the death of Mrs. Andrew L. Lund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
August Herrmann, of this place. Death was caused by an attack of
grip turning into pneumonia. For a week she struggled bravely and
patiently, waiting for relief, but in vain. The breaking of all
earthly ties came at 6 o'clock on Friday evening, when an all wise
father called her home.

Deceased was born on a farm east of Hooper, September 1, 1887. On
November 4, 1903, she became the wife of Andrew L. Lund, who
together with her parents and four sisters and three brothers
survive to mourn the early death of one greatly loved. Her own
mother passed away when she was 10 years old, her place being
filled a few years later by her step-mother, the present Mrs.
Herrman.

Close surviving relatives are, the husband, Andrew A. Lund; her
father and step mother; two brothers, John and Paul: two sisters,
Li???ie and Mrs. Oscar Clark; one half brother, August, and two
little half-sisters, Clair and Laurine. Mrs. Lund was a baptized
and confirmed member of the Lutheran faith and an ardent worker in
the Uehling Ladies' Aid.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Lund home at
one o'clock and at 1:30 from the Congregational church at Uehling.
Reverends Schrader of Hooper and Mettler of Omaha were in charge.
Interment was made in the Swedish Lutheran church cemetery near
Uehling. The pall-bearers were Jacob Larson, Henry Peterson,
Arthur Bowman, Fred Frost, Eric Larson and Lars Larson. Friends and
relatives from a distance present at the funeral were: Jack Larson
and Miss Marie Larson, Minneapolis, Minn.: Mr. and Mrs. W. Oak,
Wausa: Mrs. Jos. Pfeuffellman, Creighton: Mr. and Mrs. J. E.
Johnson, Lindsey; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kammerer, Dixon: Mr. and Mrs.
Geo. Monnich, Pender: Mr. and Mrs. Dan Larson, Fremont: Messrs and
Mesdames Everrit Holmes and Bert Woodruff, Lyons.
