Daniel H. Minshew, 69, died at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, 1 Mar 1990, at Grove Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, 3 Mar, at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Petty with the Rev. Ronald Barnett. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Minshew, a welder, was born in Snyder on 5 Jul 1920, a son of Newt H. and Flossie Hoover Minshew. He married Marrianne Victoria Reed on 6 Jul 1951, in Plains, Texas. She died in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Vicki Barnes of Petty; two sons, Vernon Minshew of Brookston and Kimbel Minshew of Beaumont, Kan.; four sisters, Dean Devour of Rogue River, Ore., Ona Mae Anderson of Shawnee, Okla., Louise Savelo of California and Gal Minshew of Mandera, Calif.; four brothers, Cecil Minshew of Hobbs, NM, and Douglas, Ed and Jerry Minshew; and one grandson.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In 1993 this was an unmarked grave.
