James William "Jim" Keeling, 68, Elkton, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at his home of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Latham Funeral Home, Elkton, with the Revs. Larry Cardwell and Eddie Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow in McColpin Cemetery, Allegre.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A native of Akron, Ohio, he was born Aug. 22, 1944, the son of the late Rev. William "Bill" and Gwenn Curtis Keeling.

He retired from the Local 40 International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, and he was the author and operator of Jim Keeling Online Ministries. He was a member of Allegre Missionary Baptist Church.

A son, Jimmy Keeling, preceded him in death in 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Keeling, Elkton; two sons, Scott (Renee) Keeling, Elkton, and Eric (Melanie) Keeling, Bowling Green; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Keeling, Elkton; a sister, Mrs. Ton (Rosanne) Malone, Crofton; and eight grandchildren.
