Mon Jun 03, 2013, 11:58 AM CDT Jack Gordon Hubbard, 86, beloved husband, brother-in-law and uncle, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Funeral Service are 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1062 Fairview Road, in Mineral Wells, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Willow Pond Cemetery.

Jack Gordon Hubbard was born March 27, 1927, in Dallas. He met and married the love of his life, Nola Jean Smith on August 20, 1949, and they spent 63 wonderful years together.

Gordon honorably served his country in the United States Army and then spent many years as a civil servant at Fort Wolters and Fort Bliss. He loved to travel and was a talented wood carver.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche Cardwell Hubbard and Albert Jack Hubbard, and his brother, James Hubbard. Survivors: wife of 63 years, Nola Jean Smith Hubbard; sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Hubbard and Euna Guinn; 11 beloved nieces and nephews.
